NAI Tri Properties Announces Top TBJ SPACE Award Winners

We are thrilled to announce that Vulcan Elements won “Top Economic Development – New Industry” Award in Triangle Business Journal’s 2026 SPACE Awards. Vulcan Elements, a magnet company, announced plans to invest $1 billion, leasing 500,000+ SF at Crosspoint Logistics Center in Benson. It is expected to bring over 1,000 jobs. Ed Brown of NAI Tri Properties and Anna Lea Stroud of A. Stroud & Co. represented Vulcan in its lease negotiations. Read more about the top economic developments here.

Jimmy Barnes won “Top Warehouse Lease Transaction” of the year . Barnes represented the owner, Wigeon Capital, in preleasing 80,100 SF at Cornerstone at Walnut Creek Business Park in Raleigh to Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

Our brokerage team also won several top transaction recognitions across property type categories, including:

1. Second Place in Top Warehouse Lease Category – Armstrong Relocation lease at Bedford Place in Durham. Ed Brown and Daniel Herring represented the landlord. Ryan Gaylord and Paxton Massarelli represented the tenant.

2. Second Place in Top Office Lease Category – Aspida lease at Imperial Tower, Durham. Greg Sanchez, Robin Anders, and Ryan Gaylord represented the landlord, Drawbridge Realty.
